Important Certification Requirement
After completing your training, you must upload a current CPR Card and Swim Instructor Certification in order to receive your MARINO Aquatics Certification certificate.
Please note: If either your CPR Card or Swim Instructor Certification is expired, your MARINO Aquatics Certification certificate will not be issued, even if you have paid the certification fee and passed the quiz.
All documents will be manually reviewed by an instructor before certification is approved. Your certificate will only be issued once your documents have been verified and confirmed as valid and up to date.

Notice: On completion of the certification, you must take the recertification course within two years in order for your certification to remain valid. Failure to do so will invalidate your certification and you will need to start again. Ensure you take note of the date two years from your certification date.

Welcome to the Els for Autism Brand Guidelines Course. This course is designed to help staff, partners, and supporters understand how to represent the Els for Autism brand clearly, consistently, and respectfully across all communications.
The Els for Autism brand reflects the foundation’s mission to transform the lives of individuals with autism and their families through lifelong services, research, education, and global outreach. Every email, presentation, social media post, flyer, and partnership reflects the organization’s identity. By following the brand guidelines, we ensure that all communications reinforce trust, professionalism, and a unified voice.
In this course, you will learn how to use the Els for Autism visual and verbal brand elements correctly. Topics will include logo usage, color palettes, typography, imagery, tone of voice, and accessibility considerations. You’ll also explore practical examples of how to apply the guidelines across digital and print materials.
Whether you are creating marketing materials, internal communications, event signage, or social media content, these guidelines will help ensure that the Els for Autism brand is represented consistently and with integrity.
By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge and tools needed to confidently apply the brand guidelines and help strengthen the impact and recognition of the Els for Autism Foundation.

Sleep Training
In this training, we will discuss the importance of sleep for children of all cognitive abilities. This training is designed for parents, care givers, clinicians, educators, and anyone who might be interested in knowing more about sleep! We will discuss the many considerations when developing a plan for sleep training and will we review evidence-based sleep training strategies and how to select the one that works for you. This training is an introduction to understanding the complexities and importance of sleep training and will NOT provide a one size fits all sleep training approach.

Basics of Behavior: Part 1
Length: 1 hour, Continuing Education Credits: 2 Level: Intermediate
In this training, we discuss reinforcement and the ABC model of behavior. Understanding these foundational concepts in applied behavior analysis is extremely important in developing effective supports for our learners. We review the differences between positive and negative reinforcement, discuss the various types of both, and review the contrast between preference and reinforcement. We identify antecedents, discuss how to select and define a target behavior of interest, and identify consequences.
Basics of Behavior Part 2: Behavior Management
Length: 1 hour, Continuing Education Credits: 1 Level: Intermediate
In this training, we are back for Part 2 of Behavior Basics. We will focus on Behavior Management, and review best proactive and reactive strategies under a variety of contexts in which challenging behaviors are commonly triggered. We will review each scenario in detail, using the framework of the ABC model as a conceptual analysis to understand how certain behaviors might be learned and how we can as educators, clinicians, and caregivers, work learners through challenging situations. We will discuss the importance of understanding the why, implementing appropriate replacement behaviors, and increasing functional communication opportunities.
Safety Skills for Individuals with ASD
Length: 1-hour Continuing Education Credits: .72 Level: Intermediate
Objectives:
1. Understand how to determine why unsafe situations are occurring.
2. Be able to implement strategies to prevent or minimize the risk of safety-related accidents.
3. Understand strategies to teach new skills to replace unsafe behaviors.
