All documents will be manually reviewed by an instructor before certification is approved. Your certificate will only be issued once your documents have been verified and confirmed as valid and up to date.

The Els for Autism brand reflects the foundation’s mission to transform the lives of individuals with autism and their families through lifelong services, research, education, and global outreach. Every email, presentation, social media post, flyer, and partnership reflects the organization’s identity. By following the brand guidelines, we ensure that all communications reinforce trust, professionalism, and a unified voice.
In this course, you will learn how to use the Els for Autism visual and verbal brand elements correctly. Topics will include logo usage, color palettes, typography, imagery, tone of voice, and accessibility considerations. You’ll also explore practical examples of how to apply the guidelines across digital and print materials.

This training is an introduction to understanding the complexities and importance of sleep training and will NOT provide a one size fits all sleep training approach.

In this training, we discuss reinforcement and the ABC model of behavior. Understanding these foundational concepts in applied behavior analysis is extremely important in developing effective supports for our learners. We review the differences between positive and negative reinforcement, discuss the various types of both, and review the contrast between preference and reinforcement. We identify antecedents, discuss how to select and define a target behavior of interest, and identify consequences.

In this training, we are back for Part 2 of Behavior Basics. We will focus on Behavior Management, and review best proactive and reactive strategies under a variety of contexts in which challenging behaviors are commonly triggered. We will review each scenario in detail, using the framework of the ABC model as a conceptual analysis to understand how certain behaviors might be learned and how we can as educators, clinicians, and caregivers, work learners through challenging situations. We will discuss the importance of understanding the why, implementing appropriate replacement behaviors, and increasing functional communication opportunities.
